What is everyone running for gearing? Its time for a rear sprocket and I am not sure if stock or +1 would be the better setup.

Probably not the most helpful but I myself found my kx450f needed a bit more speed in lower gears to I went up 2 teeth in the rear. I know a lot of people have done that with their kx

Gearing is a preference and depends on how you ride. Do you need more top speed or more acceleration? Top speed = smaller rear. Acceleration = bigger rear.
This also depends on the track youre riding.

I'd stick with the 13/50 unless you are riding supercross type tracks or woods. I've got a lot of seat time on the KX250F's through the years and stock is what I prefer.
You may like the 51 IDK, but I find it runs out of top end speed too soon. It does pull 3rd gear in the corners a little better but the trade off is not worth it IMO.

Agreed, I have a 51t rear on my kx250f that I decided to try because magazines etc recommended it. I don't like it. I get stuck in more situations where I have to click 4th gear when I shouldn't. Guess it depends on what area of the bikes power you like to be in mostly.

I am a faster woods/trail rider that is a C class moto goon. I am going to be doing more woods riding. On our local supercross style track the gearing felt perfect. I think I will order a 51 an give it a try.

I got a Primary Drive aluminum 51 tooth sprocket for my race yesterday. On the smaller supercross style track it is perfect for me. Unfortunately the green color is more of an olive/military green instead of a bright green like renthal works connection and kawasaki use. For anyone that finds this in the future its worth a try but get the black one.

He will probably be replacing it soon anyway. We tried those rear sprockets and they wore very quickly........We ran stock gearing on our 15's I am guessing the 17 would be similar?...
